Project Title: „Launching a Campain for Protection of Civil Interests of Vulnerable Groups of Society in Ajara Region”
2011-11-07 Beeline against the population of village Sameba
The problem being related to three villages of Ajara is of utmost importance, requiring attention from public side. In village Sameba, at 8 meters from Drinking Water Basin a Transmission Mast has been installed by Company Beeline, creating a danger to the drinking water pollution and health of the local population. The Mast has been dismantled by the population due to which the Company brought a case in the Court.

The Institute of Democracy is continuing a campaign for protection of Civil Interests. The project considers protection of the interests of certain groups of society and their advocacy. Project beneficiaries belong to the group of people suffering from common problems. One of the issues involves the residence of the families suffered from snow-fall in Khulo Municipality.
